Ben’s 31 birthday!

Ben turned 31 on Tuesday November 17th. His family celebrated on the previous Sunday. They made a yummy dinner with salmon and veggies and for dessert his sister Holland made Swedish pancakes, which he loves! I have come to find out you cannot substitue whole wheat flour for white, which I like to do. Also he will not eat brown rice unless I make it into sugary rice pudding. 🙂 Anyways, on his birthday we went to Tucanos and ate till we wanted to explode! It was yummy, but neither one of us know when to stop.

After weeks of debate about whether to get a Playstation 3, Wii, or XBox 360 we finally decided on the Playstation 3 because it is also a great Blu-ray player.  We headed off to Best Buy with 3 Best Buy gift cards and 2 Visa card gift cards to make the purchase. It was quite the expense with the added remote control and extra controller and of course we had to buy a couple Blu-rays. We got great ones though; Disney’s UP, Star Trek, and Chronicles of Narnia- Prince Caspian (First movie Ben and I watched Together).  Happy Birthday Sweetie!!! Now we are only 4 years apart instead of 5. That makes me feel better 😉 .

Leonid Meteor Shower

Wendy and I went up in the mountains away from the light pollution of the city to watch the meteor shower.  It was a pretty good time.  We saw a pretty spectacular meteor that was coming towards earth rather than just skipping off the atmosphere so it didn’t look like it was traveling all that fast.  It lasted around 6 seconds.  It started as a small white streak and ended in a giant ball of orange fire.  Very neat.

Here are a few of the photos I took.  Sorry no meteors.

Bendy Christmas List

My parents have requested a Christmas list.  This list is not meant to be the Christmas list of stuff that I want them to buy but a list of stuff that we want potentially so we can weight and balance needs and wants.

Wish List:
Bed Frame
5D Mark II
Playstation III
Gas range/oven
House (with garage)
Reverse osmosis water unit

Feasible Christmas List:
Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration Unit
BluRay Player (PS3?)

What’s With the Celebrity Couple Name?

Well, celebrity couple names are clearly reserved strictly for celebrities.  You’ve had some classic celebrity couple names such as Bennifer, Raeeke and Brangelina.  So why do we have one?  We’re obviously celebrities.  To prove this point, here is a picture that the paparazzi took of us at the beach.

It may look like we’re posing but we’re not.  We just stand like that sometimes.  This paparazzo caught us totally off guard and we hated him for it.  We love our privacy.  We love Hotel Del Coronado.  We love Coronado Beach.  We love our privacy at the Coronado Beach in front of the Hotel Del Coronado.  Shame on you, poopoofatzo.

It’s hard being celebrities.
